About Village Preschool
Village Preschool was established in 1994 though the collaborative efforts of Center School's administration, teachers and PTA. The Program was designed to ensure kindergarten readiness, and to facilitate a smooth transition for children from preschool to kindergarten
There are many Qualities that make Village Preschool special; one is our terrific staff - the most of whom have been with Village Preschool for over 10 years! Ginny Bridle, Director and head teacher, has been with the program since its inception in 1994.
Village Preschool has a wonderful location in a safe cheerful facility in the lower level of Trinity Church. Stop by and check us out!
Teachers
Ginny Bridle: Executive Director / Teacher
Ginny has been at Village Preschool for twenty-one years. She has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Plymouth University. She has been in preschool education for thirty two years. She loves working with all types of students, making learning fun and exciting. She truly believes all children deserve the opportunity for a preschool experience.
When she is not working at Village Preschool, she is a member of the Hampton School Board, where she has served for five years. She has volunteered for nineteen years working with children and grief.
She has a husband and two grown sons, and a one year old granddaughter.
Trisha Plante: Teacher
Trisha Plante has been with Village Preschool for nineteen years. She has taken classes on early childhood education. She loves coming up with all kinds of creative projects.
Trisha is married and enjoys spending time traveling. She has two grown children.
Angie Twombly: Teacher
Angie has been with Village Preschool for eighteen years. She has taken classes in early childhood education. Angie initiated the Easter Bunny Breakfast, Village Preschool’s major fundraiser. She loves the arts and crafts as well as keeps our facility in working order. She is a great fix it person. Angie has done the artwork you see painted on the wall (Clifford, Emily Elizabeth, Coconut tree etc.).
Angie lives with her husband and has a grown daughter.
Chelsea MacInnes: Afternoon Assistant
Chelsea has been with Village Preschool for four years. She came to Village Preschool, when she was in preschool. She is very creative and does artistic projects with the afternoon children. Chelsea has taken two years of classes at Great Bay Community College in early childhood teaching.
Kim Bohan: Afternoon Assistant
Kim has been an assistant at Village Preschool for two years. She was a high school intern with us for two years. She is at Great Bay Community College studying Early Childhood Education.
